My husband was talking with a friend the other day who just happens to be a builder. He told my husband that they had made the decision to put hardwoods in their floor and deeply regretted it. He said that the floor was scratched and pitted from the dogs and kids.
Another reason I'm so glad we opted for laminate flooring - the kids can bang away with their Legos and such and the floor looks great! As long as we wipe up spills quickly we're good to go. :)
